Join the Vegan Action — Ignite the Flame of Change!

Since 2025, the global plant-based movement has entered a new era of momentum.

Starting in Taiwan (Formosa), we have hosted diverse advocacy events — marches, lectures, forums, and more.

We actively submit concrete policy proposals and blueprints to the government,

calling on authorities to address climate change, animal rights, public health, and social justice.

Beginning with government officials, we work to build a fairer, more compassionate, and more peaceful society.

The following is a chronological list (newest first) of events organized by Vegan Action Network (more events being planned):

Green & Slow Living | A Plant-Based Food Education Day Trip

“Food is not just about nutrition; it is a vital connection between soil, human health, and the health of our planet.”

Bilu Village is one of Taiwan’s pioneers in organic farming. For more than three decades, it has remained committed to organic cultivation methods and producing its own fermented organic fertilizers.

Farmer Wu shared his philosophy: “Instead of constantly thinking about how to eliminate pests, we should focus on taking care of the soil.” By providing the right nutrients according to the needs of different crops and maintaining healthy soil, plants can naturally grow stronger while coexisting with all living beings in a more harmonious way.

During this event, participants not only stepped into the fields to learn about organic agriculture, but also took part in seed planting, enjoyed plant-based meals made with fresh organic vegetables, and explored the stories behind our food through sustainability and health-focused talks.

“Vegan Taiwan · Vegan World” Earth Day Walk

In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), the Pure Plant Action Alliance hosted the "Vegan Taiwan · Vegan World" Walkathon in Tainan. The event brought together alliance members and participants from Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Miaoli to walk in support of healthier living, compassion for animals, and environmental sustainability. Through every step, the event highlighted the values of a plant-based lifestyle and inspired more people to embrace a healthier and more sustainable way of living.

On December 13, 2025, the 'All-Industries March for Plant-Based Future' took place on Ketagalan Boulevard in Taipei. Combining a peaceful march with silent prayer, the event conveyed our care for our planetary home, respect for life, and commitment to lifestyle transformation — sending a clear message to the government and society: 'Plant-based saves the Earth; action creates the future.' Youth Power for Change Forum: "Vegan Living × Sustainable Fashion"

Under the theme 'The Power of Youth for Change,' this forum brought together four cross-disciplinary speakers at NYCU's Hekeng Lecture Hall — spanning environmental medicine, fitness, organic farming, and the arts — to explore how plant-based living can drive social transformation and planetary sustainability. A conversation on fashion and sustainability, and the innovative thinking of a younger generation on style, the environment, and plant-based eating.

A plant-based diet is not merely a personal choice — it is the key to transforming society and the ecosystem as a whole. It unites climate justice, health promotion, animal ethics, and food security, making it the most integrative sustainable path forward.

More than two thousand people concerned about climate change and environmental sustainability gathered on Taipei's Ketagalan Boulevard, braving cold wind and rain to march through the city, collectively calling on the government to immediately adopt plant-based policies to address the climate crisis and protect Taiwan's environment. Following a thousand-person sit-in and the delivery of a plant-based policy petition to President Lai and six ministries, the action escalated — in preparation for submitting a proposal to the UNFCCC in June.
